Program Requirements

Early Graduation Option:
Three Year 24 Credit Program

Completion of all high school requirements except English 4 and Government/Economics before the junior year.

College readiness courses recommended in grades 9, 10, 11, and all vocational certifications must be completed upon graduation.

Completion of an” Early Graduation Application” is required during the Sophomore year.

College-ready score on the PERT exam or ACT/SAT is required during the Sophomore year.

Note: Student must maintain a 3.5 unweighted GPA and earn 18.5 credits before the junior year.

Students may complete twelve to fifteen DE credits each semester during the senior year through the Early College Admission Program.

Advanced Placement, Honors, and Online courses are encouraged to help meet vocational and H.S. requirements.

All but the following graduation requirements must be completed before entering the program: English, Government, and Economics. A PERT Math score of 123 or higher is needed.

Note: Students must maintain a 3.5 unweighted GPA, good attendance, and exceptional conduct always. Applications for the program are accepted in the summer of grade 11 only.

Completion of 3 to 4 high school courses while in middle school and pass all EOC exams during the first administration.

Summer DE is required for grades 9, 10, and 11; two DE courses per semester are recommended;

All high school requirements and 18.5 credits must be completed before junior year.

Complete 3 to 4 high school courses while in middle school and pass all EOC exams during the first administration (i.e., Algebra I Honors/Geometry Honors/ Biology Honors).

Students must complete the AP Seminar and AP Research coursework and pass (6) AP exams with a score of (3) or higher to receive the AP Capstone Diploma.

Students who complete the AP Seminar and AP Research coursework but do not have the necessary AP exam scores or credits will receive the Capstone Certificate only.

Students interested in the program should complete 1-AP course in 9th grade, 2-AP courses in 10th grade, 4-AP courses in 11th grade and 6-AP courses (in total) by the end of 12th grade.

Students selecting the AP Capstone Program will remain in the program until completion.

Note: Students must maintain a 3.2 unweighted GPA, good attendance, and exceptional conduct always. Teacher recommendation required and program guidelines cannot be altered.
